Where can I buy my ticket with complete peace of mind?
You can buy your tickets with confidence directly from our online ticket office, accessible via our website, or from our official resellers (Tiqets, Get Your Guide, Musement, Headout, Civitatis, Klook).
I have a dated ticket. Can I come on another date?
Dated tickets are valid exclusively for the date selected at the time of purchase and cannot be rescheduled or cancelled.
Can I buy a family package?
The family package applies to 2 adults and 2, 3 or 4 children, regardless of family relationship.
Can I benefit from the "disabled person" rate as a carer?
Yes, this rate is available to the carer if the disabled person’s card states that a carer is needed.
Are there any specific discounts or free entry offers (for teachers, Carte Culture holders, senior citizens, military personnel, or ICOM cardholders)?
No preferential rates or free entries are offered for these categories.
Is there a reduced rate?
A reduced rate is available to tour guides (upon presentation of valid professional identification) and to jobseekers (upon presentation of a France Travail card).
Who is eligible for free admission?
Entry is free for children under 7 years old, as well as for journalists upon presentation of valid press credentials.
Do you offer a ticket for park entry only?
The entrance ticket grants access to the entire site, including the château and the Parc Leonardo da Vinci.
I have a dated ticket (works council). Do I need to book a time slot?
Undated tickets are valid without prior booking. You are free to turn up on the day of your choice.
How do I book a school visit?
You can print your ticket or simply show it on your mobile phone for validation at the Clos Lucé entrance.

How do I book a guided tour of the château?
Book your tour with a tour guide or with Mathurine directly on site at the ticket office or at the Amboise Tourist Office. For more information, see our section on tour options.
Where can I eat at Clos Lucé?
Treat yourself to a gourmet break in one of our three restaurants: La Terrasse Renaissance (bruschettas), La Table du Moulin (grill, burgers, salads) and L’Auberge du Prieuré (Renaissance gourmet recipes in a 15th-century setting). Takeaway is also available during the summer. Opening days and hours can be found in the “Restaurants” section.
Does Clos Lucé have a picnic area?
There is a picnic area in the park with several shaded tables where you can enjoy a break in the open air.
Does the site have Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi is available on site. To connect, select the “Val de Loire Tourisme” network when you are within the grounds of the Clos Lucé.
To ensure an enjoyable visit for everyone, the residence can only be visited with a baby carrier. Pushchairs must be left outside.

Clos Lucé’s three shops offer a wide range of reference books on Leonardo da Vinci, creative games, and local crafts and products such as Clos Lucé honey, sage wine, and hippocras.
Are dogs allowed at Clos Lucé?
They must be kept on a lead in the park and carried inside the château.
