Self-Guided Visit
Follow in the footsteps of Leonardo da Vinci. Explore the Château du Clos Lucé, its park and the Leonardo da Vinci Painter and Architect Galleries at your own pace. A visitor leaflet for the château and park, available in 5 languages*, is provided free of charge at the ticket office to guide you on your visit.
In the park, 8 audio points** immerse you in the thoughts of Leonardo da Vinci. Sit beneath the century-old trees and let the artist’s reflections guide you.
Transcripts are also available for the hard of hearing on request at the ticket office.

Please note that our tour guide will be away from the afternoon of June 17 through June 25 (inclusive), and then on June 27 and 28.
Immerse yourself in Leonardo da Vinci’s life in France! Join tour guide Carol Geoffroy as you discover the artist’s final years in Amboise: his daily life at the Clos Lucé, his projects for the King of France, and a wealth of anecdotes about his work. In summer and on public holidays, the tour takes place in the park. The rest of the year, it takes place in the intimacy of his home.

Fun Guided Tour with Mathurine
Take your family on a journey to the heart of the Renaissance with Mathurine, Leonardo da Vinci’s cook!
Through her eyes, discover the artist’s daily life, his relationship with Francis I, his achievements and his many talents.
From April to September, the guided tour takes place in the park. The rest of the year, it takes place in the intimacy of his home.

- Times: during spring, summer (13 July – 28 August) and autumn half-term holidays, Monday to Friday, as well as on 1, 2, 8, 9 and 24 May: 11am and 2:15pm – Additional tour at 3:30pm from 3 to 21 August.
