L’Auberge du Prieuré: a gastronomic journey to the time of Leonardo da Vinci

In this inn, Chef Sieur Sausin, a specialist in historical cuisine, takes gourmets on a gastronomic journey to the time of Leonardo da Vinci.

Throughout the year, on the shaded terrace or by the fireplace, visitors can enjoy Renaissance-inspired recipes in a unique setting: confit of chicken in local wine, squash “gastiau” with caraway, salmon aumônière with basil, and leek tredura…. Waiters wear Renaissance costumes and the menu, filled with historical anecdotes, is presented in the traditional old "François" or medieval French. A tasty and immersive experience for the family. COOKING WORKSHOP - MAKING "OUBLIES"

During this winter season of February, when pagan and Christian festivals (Candlemas and Shrove Tuesday) invite us to celebrate the return of the sun, symbolized by the crêpe (round and golden), Mr. and Mrs. Sausin offer culinary and educational workshops where you can participate in making oublies (an ancestral recipe for the Renaissance crêpe) and learn about its origins and symbolism.

You will conclude the workshop with a tasting of your oublies during your lunch or afternoon snack.

Price of the workshop from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and themed lunch "Oublies" (Renaissance aperitif, starter, main course, dessert): €37 for adults and €24 for children under 12.

Workshop price from 4 pm to 5 pm and themed afternoon snack "Forgotten Pastries" (1 hot drink and apple/cinnamon forgotten pastries + a fleur-de-lis biscuit): €13 including tax for adults and €10 for children under 12.

Dates: February 13, 20, 25, 27 and March 4, 6
